The Farm-nomenon: Online Gaming

Haw?
In case you don’t know: FarmVille is a real-time social networking game developed by Zynga --available on Facebook and the iPhone—that allows participants to plant, grow, and harvest virtual crops, as well as, raise virtual livestock.
Something to crow about.
Since its launch just over a year ago, FarmVille has attained over 61.6 million active users, engaging over 10% of all Facebookers, and making it hard for marketers to ignore.
Planting ads.
Recently real-life companies like 7-Eleven and Cascadian Farm (an organic offshoot of General Mills) have gotten involved with limited-time FarmVille product placements offering users the chance to get coupons for actual Big Gulps or Slurpees or corner the market on premium virtual blueberry crops.
InkVille? GreenGardens? Google-opolis?
What’s next? If you’re game, let’s see what kind of kookiness we can come up with. Please take a moment and share your thoughts here http://bit.ly/9fExND .
Who knows…maybe it’ll get you thinking about your next cash cow.
Hope you’re still plowing through, and if we haven’t heard from you in a while--y’all come back now, ya hear!
